What you need to know.
Registration
- Form a team of up to 8 players
- Register your team and players online
- Registrations open 28 August (Wed). Once the pool league is full then registrations for that group close
- Choose your franchise team of preference (12 options per age group)
- Once a deposit (R1000) payment is made, your team is unlocked and awarded to you (first come, first serve). Based on Proof of Payment sent to John (079 726 0280 or westermeyerj@gmail.com)
- Final payment per team no later than 30 Sep before competition starts
Teams and Age Groups
- 5 teams per age group, per gender (except U7/9s)
- U7/9 Mixed; Boys and Girls – U11, U13, U16
- 8 players; 5 on field and 3 impact players
Cost
- R2600 per team (R325 per player)
- Covers Astro hire, umpires, admin etc.
Game Length and Frequency
- 10-3-10 (10 min a half, with 3 min half time break)
- 4 competitive games against other franchise teams
- All your games on either a Saturday or Sunday
- Matches start every half hour and on the hour
- League leader wins the competition (Gold). Silver and Bronze medals for 2nd and 3rd
Fixtures: When and Where
- Juniors (u13 – u16): 5 Oct – 6 Oct (Sat/Sun)
- Minis (u7/9s – u11): 12 Oct – 13 Oct (Sat/Sun)
- Where: KHS Astro
- Check your fixtures online. You play on either a Saturday or Sunday
Franchise Team and Kit
- Once you’ve unlocked your franchise team, it is awarded to you and your players
- If your preferred franchise team is taken, your next two options come into play
- The Franchise team logo is emailed to you
- Your team can decide on your team colours and shirts
- You may get custom shirts made up with the logo printed on
